The building and grounds
Woodside View is an elegant Edwardian mansion, refurbished throughout to meet our exacting standards while keeping the character of the house. It sits within its own grounds and landscaped gardens on Caterham Hill, with magnificent views across the valley.
Caterham town is close by, with its mainline railway station, shops and cafes, parks, a library and a museum. It gives the home the best of both worlds: peace and green space, with everyday life just minutes away.
The rooms
There are 22 medium to large bedrooms, all beautifully appointed and decorated to a high standard. Some enjoy views over the Caterham Valley, and some have en-suite facilities.
Every room has the scope for residents to make their surroundings their own, from a favourite chair to family photographs. We encourage families to help make each room feel like home.

Our residents shape how they spend their time, with a regular programme of activities and the freedom to join in as much or as little as they like. There is company when you want it, and quiet when you don’t.
Memory boxes sit at the heart of much of what we do. Filled with belongings and mementoes chosen with families, they spark conversation, stir happy memories, and help our team get to know each resident and their story.
